Children are well catered for with our fully enclosed heated pool, garden swings, table tennis, pool table, table football, boules and video and DVD library.
We also have a selection of childrens and adults books.
You are welcome to wander around our extensive gardens, or you might decide to walk or cycle along the lanes amongst the vineyards and sunflower fields. We have plenty of bicycles (adult and child size) that you are welcome to borrow - please bring your own helmets.
Sitting around the pool on a peaceful afternoon it's hard to imagine that this was once a thriving working farm. Now converted to a high standard La Bigorre offers the best of all worlds, the peace and quiet of a rural French hamlet setting with friendly neighbours and the convenience of a nearby town with restaurants and supermarkets and miles of wonderful sandy beaches within just 30 minutes - if you can tear yourself away!
The owners, Ian and Robina, have had two children themselves and have always been involved in activities involving children; Cubs, Scouts, School Governor, Pre-School Playgroup leader. If you require any assistance we will be delighted to help. If, however, you wish to have a holiday of complete privacy and peace and quiet that won't be a problem!

La Bigorre.......a small rural hamlet of just eight houses surrounded by vines, sunflowers and corn. There's little traffic here, making it a lovely peaceful and safe place to be.
