In the same building as Well Cottage we have a lovely old farmhouse which has been recently restored. There is a large kitchen/dining room with a massive table and arange cooker. The kitchen leads into a large lounge. Upstairs there are three bedrooms with lovely exposed beams, a huge bathroom with corner bath,separate shower, WC and basin, and an additional separate toilet. All the bedrooms and living rooms rooms overlook our lovely mature gardens.
There's even a door opening into the games barn!
Farmhouse kitchen - since this picture was taken a woodburning stove has been installed for cosy spring and autumn evenings sitting around the table chatting over a glass of wine! For anyone interested in cooking there is a range cooker.
The lounge also has a woodburning stove in the stone fireplace. The large windows in this room have a lovely view of the main gardens. The door at the rear of the picture leads to the kitchen. There is a TV with video recorder and DVD in the corner to the left of the woodburner.
Master bedroom, also with views onto the gardens and countryside beyond. This room has lovely exposed ceiling beams which unfortunately we couldn't get into the picture!
Second bedroom (part of). Another room with exposed ceiling beams! This bedroom, as you can see, looks over the garden and has a double bed. There is also sufficient space here for a single bed if required.
The third bedroom (not shown) has two sets of quality bunks and is ideal as a childrens room.
