Pool
The main focal point for most families at La Bigorre is, of course, the beautiful swimming pool. Completely fenced and gated and also with an alarm system, the 10m x 5m pool has great views over the fields and is heated through the summer.
Child Friendly
We pride ourselves on our very high level of child-friendly equipment and entertainment. We have lots of toys, games and play equipment for babies, younger and older children alike.
You’ll find plenty of equipment as well, such as baby monitors, buggies, steam sterilisers, stepstools, booster seats, quality wooden highchairs, high quality cots and baby baths.
Play
Our enclosed games barn has table football and a pool table, as well as access to lots of books, toys and games for younger children that you are welcome to take to your cottage to enjoy. The open games hangar houses the table tennis table, trampoline, playhouse, toy tractors and other outdoor toys, as well as comfortable seating for parents seeking a bit of shade/overseeing play.
To the side of the hangar is our games shack, including lots of board games for older children, craft items for our more creative guests and our extensive DVD library for children and adults alike.

Outdoors
Our extensive mature gardens provide ample space for football, croquet, tennis, badminton and, of course, boules, as well as accommodating swings and slides for both toddlers and older children and our delightful treehouse.
Cycling is a favourite activity for many of our visitors and is a real joy around La Bigorre, with quiet roads, no steep hills and lovely countryside. With a large selection of bikes of all sizes, plus trailers, tag-a-longs or child seats, kids can pedal themselves or be taken along with ease.
